Agamemnon & Archibald: Thanksgiving Kittens

I just realized I hadn’t posted my Thanksgiving pictures of Agamemnon and Archibald!! Oh NO! Here I am planning their Christmas portraits and I haven’t even posted their Thanksgiving photo session. I figured I should use their full names here as it seemed most fitting…cats in awesome hats deserve to use their full regal names! Plus, to be honest, I’m not sure they respond to Aggie the Cat or Archie the Cat either. Mostly they just try and ignore me when I dress them up.

You may wonder why they aren’t in any pictures together. Well…that is because Archibald wouldn’t leave Agamemnon’s feathers alone. He kept attacking her head making it very difficult to get a picture of the two of them together where they’re both looking toward the camera with their heads up. So I settled for individual shots.

I crafted Agamemnon’s feather headpiece from pipe cleaners and a bag of feathers from Michaels. It was so easy! Archibald’s hat was the same top hat from when he was little (which I found in the doll section at the craft store) and then I just used pipe cleaners to make the fake buckle. And if you’re wondering how I keep it on his head…well…I removed the elastic from a birthday hat and taped it to the inside of this hat.

Enjoy…more Cats in Hats!!!
