I love getting pretty packages in the mail!! Like absolutely love it!! There’s just nothing like the wonderful surprise of opening the mailbox and expecting to receive nothing but junk mail and bills…but instead…you receive something pretty!!! And fun!!! I start opening the box or envelope on my way from the mailbox to the front door. Who wants to wait until you get inside?
This is one of the many reasons that I LOVE sending my wedding clients pretty packages! Yes every wedding client receives all of the their wedding day images in an online gallery. Yes they can download the images and save them (and I encourage them to do so right away!). But…a pretty package of wedding images…oh my!! There’s nothing like something pretty in your hand. There’s nothing like printed images in your hand. To me…receiving a pretty box is all a part of the experience of working with me! I want you to smile on your wedding day and I want you to smile when you open your front door and there’s a package waiting for you.
Here’s a peek inside of one of my pretty packages:
I have my favorite professional lab print a handful of images with a linen finish. I generally choose the images that make me smile immediately when I look them.
Then I fold those prints up in vellum, tape them with washi tape, and tie them with pretty ribbon.
Yes we are in the digital age and every one of my clients receives the full resolution digital image files with their Wedding Collection. I mentioned above all the images can be downloaded directly from the online gallery to make things really easy. However…we all need a back up of our images! (Please keep several copies of your wedding day images. Pretty please!!!! I don’t want you to lose any of them.) I include a custom crystal and gold USB drive with all of the wedding day images. To say that I love these would be an understatement! I just found them and started using these mid year and I’m completely obsessed.
There’s a special print in the big orange envelope too. Pictures are meant to be printed! They’re meant to be looked at and smiled at and swooned over. They’re meant to be hung on your walls and sitting on your desk. So you see My Love…I have a few printed for you so you can do just that very thing.
The USB drives get wrapped up in a little white velvet pouch for safe keeping.
I put everything in a white mailer with lots of gold and white crinkle paper. It makes it so festive and fun! It kind of like a party in a box. 
The last touch is a hand written note on my awesome gold foil note cards. They’re so pretty I could send out notes to everyone all day!!
I’m always working on my wedding photography packaging. It gets tweaked and changed a little with every package I send out…but rest assured it will be filled with lots of orange and gold, a few prints, and lots to make you smile!
