it’s nice to be back to my blog! i have been sick for almost a week now and just back to feeling human. so that meant…no blogging and no work for amber for a few days. happy to be back on this wednesday with some wedding beautifulness!!
this awesome rustic wedding is from a wedding i second shot with the fabulous chelsea hudson of chelsea hudson photography. (thanks chelsea for inviting me along for the day. it was awesome!) i loved everything about this wedding- the gorgeous venue, the beautiful day, the amazing couple, and all of their friends and family. rounton farm in orange, va was the venue and it was such an amazing property! seriously i think i could have taken photos there all weekend.
the reception was held in this cute red barn. one of the amazing parts about this wedding was how casual and intimate it was. the bride and groom did all of their pictures before the ceremony and mingled with their guests as well.
one of the awesome parts about second shooting is how much time i get to photograph all the details of the day. from these awesome tables and flowers to the guests mingling and talking.
and then it was time to walk up the hill to the ceremony site. some guests walked and some took a hay ride. how much fun is that!
the wedding party with the groom and the officiant leading the way. they had a friend play guitar and sing for the procession. such a beautiful detail!
and then the walk back to cocktail hour and the reception. so beautiful!
