I met these two lovebirds a little while back at a wedding. They were both in the wedding party and I was photographing the wedding. In fact Meredith was the Groom’s sister. Flash forward a bit and Meredith contacted me and told me that her and Tyler were now engaged and would I photograph their wedding. Um…YES! It’s such an honor documenting a couple’s love and wedding. I love getting to know a couple and their friends and families. And I so love it when someone has worked with me before and had a great experience, loves the pictures they’ve seen, and then decide that they want to work with me again.

So yeah…I was more than a little stoked to work with Meredith and Tyler.

I don’t shoot a lot of engagement pictures in basketball courts. In fact I never have before. But here’s the super fun fact….Meredith and Tyler met each other while they both played basketball for Georgetown. Isn’t that like the coolest thing ever???? They both played college basketball for Georgetown! Can you say awesome athletes? And they dated while they were at Georgetown. And now their engaged and getting married. (As a side note…I can barely dribble a basketball let alone hope to make a basket. I was truly out of my league with these two!). So when Meredith asked me about shooting their engagement photos at Georgetown, where it all began, and suggested the basketball court I was in!

And of course we walked around Georgetown University campus a bit too!
