It was a beautiful May Saturday when Jennifer & Shreshth were married at Thorpewood. The sun was shining and the air was thick with humidity and love and laughter. Thorpewood is a magical venue. Built deep in the woods and up the side of a mountain, surrounded by ferns and flowers and spread out over acres. It was the absolute perfect place for Jennifer & Shreshth to say their “I do’s” and invite their families and friends to join them in celebrating their love and commitment.
Jennifer wore the cutest little ballet flats covered with sparkles.
Look at those smiles!!! The flowers were absolutely to die for. I think peonies may just be my favorite flower.
Shreshth has the best smile ever!
The pine cathedral at Thorpewood is such an amazing place for a ceremony. Shreshth escorted his parents who had traveled all the way from India.
Couples portraits….there may not be a better place than Thorpewood to explore with an adventurous couple! So many options we could easily have spent 8 hours just walking the grounds and taking photos. Loved this light as they walked through the forest.
Then we moved on to the little pond with the perfect willow tree.
The little stone bridge! Ahhhh. I actually got to cool off as I was standing in the middle of the river to capture these. Soooo worth it.
On to the reception and a little dress change for the flower girl.
Shreshth’s parents brought all these elephants with them from India.
After some dinner and dancing we headed back out for a few more photos.
The evening ended with the perfect bubble exit and smiles and cheers!!!! Congratulations on the perfect wedding Jennifer & Shreshth!!!! Thank you for trusting me to capture your amazing day for you.
