in the spirit of catching up with blogging my second shooting endeavors- here is another for wedding wednesday! i photographed this wedding with kyle martell and it was really fun with a great bridal party! i started out at the bride’s childhood home with her and her girls getting ready. i think it would be very special to get ready for your wedding day in the house and in the room where you spent your childhood.
meredith is stunning! and her dress is perfect for her.
now off to Holy Trinity in DC to get married.
after the ceremony we headed over to the reception location at the westin in alexandria. this orange entryway made me happy 🙂
the party bus arrived with the wedding party and we were off for some portraits. and this group of groomsmen loved to have a good time!
so it was one nice portrait and one of whatever they wanted to do. ha!
this gentlemen…was hilarious!
and then he insisted i give my camera to another groomsman and have my picture taken with him.
yep! be careful on your words…don’t tell them to do whatever they like.
no idea what this was…but i was afraid that he would end up in the fountain before the reception.
these two decided it was very important to get a more daring shot on the fountain. so they were recruiting.
at least nobody fell in!
the bridesmaids were a bit more subdued. they looked so pretty in their pink dresses.
they started out their reception with some dancing by everyone before dinner. it was super fun!
