Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Wedding

I met this amazing couple a year ago when I photographed their friends- Matt & Emily’s wedding. Carol Ann and Jason were both in that wedding so we spent the whole day together. I was so excited when Carol Ann got in contact with me after the wedding and asked me to photograph her and Jason’s wedding.

Carol Ann & Jason were married at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay a few weeks ago. They had hoped for an outdoor ceremony however Mother Nature had different plans for them and these two just rolled with it all. Lots of smiles, hugs, laughter, and love was what their day was all about! The love that surrounded them was so beautiful and the number of friends and family that shared their special day was a true testament to the amazing people (& couple) that they are. I started the day with Carol Ann and her lovely ladies. They had a gorgeous suite and I had so much fun photographing her details. This dress…oh my…
And now let’s talk about these shoes!!!! Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle.
Have you ever seen a more beautiful bride?? Carol Ann you glow from the inside out! And can I just say those lashes are Fabulous!While Carol Ann and her ladies got ready Jason was one floor up hanging with the guys and getting ready.
It rained all day but we found this pavilion and with several umbrellas and several trips we were able to get everyone outside and under it. Carol Ann and Jason opted to get as many family portraits and wedding party portraits out of the way before the ceremony as possible. They didn’t want to see each other though so we were careful with our timing. A very dapper group!
Jason you look so happy! The girls turn was next! They braved the rain as well to have a few natural light portraits.Just look at these lovely ladies!!! And they were so fun and friendly to work with. Always makes my job that much easier.

The ceremony was moved inside to a ballroom.Look at that smile!!We wandered around the Hyatt looking for a few nooks and crannies for portraits as it was way too wet outside (& getting dark too) for portraits.These next ones are my favorites!Reception time!The ballroom looked amazing.A donut buffet. Yum!
