Angela & Anthony: Lansdowne Resort Wedding Photography

Angela and Anthony were married on an absolutely perfect July saturday at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA. The sky was blue with white puffy clouds and for a July day it was relatively cool and free of humidity. I can’t tell you how long I’ve been looking forward to this wedding! Probably since the day last year that I met Angela. My excitement was pushed even further after I met Anthony during their engagement session and fell in love with both of them. What a gorgeous couple…inside and out!

The whole wonderful perfect wedding day took place at Lansdowne. As Angela and her girls finished up their hair and makeup I started out photographing the beautiful details of the day.A bride who wants to be comfortable! I love Angela’s little flip-flops. So cute and guaranteed to not make your feet hurt.Angela’s dress was absolutely stunning!The flowers!!!!!!!!! They were amazingly gorgeous. The fabulous Holly Chapple did an amazing job.
One of Angela’s bridesmaids sat in this exact spot first…and then…while I had to take a picture of everyone…beautiful light!Have you ever seen a group of more beautiful bridesmaids before?Angela…wow! Just wow. You are stunning. Two perspectives…two photographers. This is my view. This was Kyle my second shooters view.My view again.I LOVE bride and groom portraits! I could probably spend 2 hours just on these…but this is what I can do in 15 minutes. What a stunning bridal party!!Anthony was showing off his style! We were all cracking up. Walking to the reception. We did a private reveal of the reception area for them so they could take it all in. It was so much fun.I have relatively few words for the amazingness of the reception room. The tables, the centerpieces, the linens, the gold chargers…it was all so beautiful!
