Thorpewood Mountain Memories Wedding Pictures

Shayna and Brian were married at Thorpewood in Thurmont, MD which is one of my all time favorite wedding venues!! I could seriously be there every weekend and not get tired of it. They were married Memorial Day weekend which turned out to be quite rainy but these two were amazing and didn’t let the rain get to them. I mean look at those smiles!!! Thankfully the heavy rain came and then went allowing them to still get married in the middle of the woods in the pine cathedral and have all of their wedding pictures outside.

The woods were beautiful green with ferns poking up everywhere and many of the gardens in full bloom. Thorpewood was just as magical as always. Shayna and Brian were full of smiles for each other and were surrounded by family and friends for their big day. Enjoy a few of my favorites of their Thorpewood Mountain Memories wedding pictures.

Have you ever seen such a beautiful group of siblings?While Brian was upstairs getting ready and hanging out Shayna was downstairs getting her dress on and doing last minute primping.Just love the detail on that veil.The guests walk through a path in the woods to get to the ceremony and it’s just lovely. It was still slightly sprinkling and everyone definitely brought their umbrellas.After the ceremony it was portrait time. Thorpewood is so very big that you have to choose which spots to visit. Julie, one of the amazing wedding planners/coordinators there drove us around on a golf cart from spot to spot and helped keep up on time.
