Sarah and John were married last weekend on a beautiful August Saturday and Stevenson Ridge in Fredericksburg was the perfect background for their big day. Sarah and the girls got ready at the Riddick House. Such a gorgeous house!!Loved Sarah’s dress and all the gorgeous spots in the house to take photos. Teddi of Bobby Pins and Blush did Sarah’s hair and makeup. John got ready over at the Log Cabin and I headed that way for a few portraits too.Sarah’s sister helped her get into her dress.Love the look on Sarah’s face! She was so excited about her dress and getting married.Sarah’s mom seeing her in her dress for the first time!Sarah’s dad was busy taking pictures and I loved his smile.Love the ceremony location! John arranged for the quartet to play a song just for them to dance to post ceremony. It was so sweet.Loved the yellow and grey colors. The tables looked beautiful.Such a unique guest sign in idea! Lots of dancing!!And then….the ice cream truck arrived!!!!And some more portraits.I just adore these two!! They were so much fun and full of smiles and laughs and kissed for each other. I’m rather smitten with this image…it was an “accident”…a very happy accident! Sarah & John…Your wedding day was amazing! So much love and smiles and tender moments and laughs. Thank you for allowing me to capture the day for you. x0x0–Amber Vendors: Venue: Stevenson Ridge Florist: Jane Guerin Flowers Cake: Simply Sweet Hair and Makeup: Teddi of Bobby Pins & Blush DJ: Richard Green Entertainment Wedding Dress:Purchased at Ava Laurenne Bride, Justin Alexander Dress Ice Cream Truck: Abner Butterfield Ice Cream Company

Thank you so much Paula!!! It was a joy to be a part of their gorgeous wedding and document it for them.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Sarah and her mom! Such sweet people. I also fell in love with these yellow flowers, and I especially loved them paired with those beautiful gray bridesmaids’ dresses! Best wishes always!
