Brianne + Joey: Mimslyn Inn Wedding Photography

love. joy. smiles. hugs. kisses. deep belly laughs. dancing. epic shoes. tears. champagne. that’s just a little of what brianne and joey’s wedding day was full of.

brianne and joey….well…they are the real deal! they make each other happier than i’ve ever seen two people make each other. they look at each other and truly see the other. they bring out the best in each other.  they laugh…a lot! they hug and kiss…a lot! in a few words…they make everyone they come into contact with believe in love.

they decided to have their whole wedding day at the Mimslyn Inn in luray, va. from getting ready to ceremony to reception they were surrounded by their closest friends and family.

the mimslyn inn was so beautiful and the perfect setting for an epic wedding day love story.

joey wrote brianne a love note and had flowers delivered to her room while she was getting ready… brianne had also written a love note and had cufflinks delivered to joey’s room. (these two really are the sweetest ever!)
aren’t joey’s little guys the cutest ever!!!! what a gorgeous wedding dress!! and every dress can use a little bling…brianne loves shoes! loves loves loves them. so she had two pairs. one pair for the ceremony and one pair for partying.  these jimmy choo’s blew my mind!
likewise joey had some very dapper shoes. a first look that had me in tears. well it had everyone in tears. the sweet words they whispered to each other never stopped the whole time they were together.  i’m not sure who complimented who more!  whenever brianne is in the r
oom joey never stops looking at her. he’s set the bar so high for all men! brianne…you are stunning! seriously you are radiant and the light that shines from you is amazing. the ceremony was held in the ballroom and it was gorgeous! they did a quick change around during cocktail hour for the reception.
each of the boys received one of these beautiful medallions as part of the wedding ceremony. what a kiss! elvis joined the party! he was in the front room of the inn and once he was spotted…well he had to become part of the festivities.
a quick shoe change for brianne and on the reception! lots of dancing fun for all the rest of the night! we ended the night with a few minutes out in the rain. kissing in the rain…is epic!

brianne and joey…thank you. thank you for your generous hearts and for allowing me to document your love. getting to know the two of you has been such a blessing to me and i am proud to now call you both friends. i wish you a lifetime of hugs, and rain kisses, and those big laughs that you have brianne, and all those smiles and epicly sweet words and looks you have for each other. seriously you have set the bar so high for what love and life should look like and be.
