Andrew & Annie: Alexandria Wedding Photography, Virginia Theological Seminary

Annie and Andrew have a love that is visceral. You can see and feel it the moment you look at the two of them together. The way they smile at each other, look at each other, and make each other laugh is absolutely beautiful. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their day and document it for them. The day started out at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria where both Andrew and Annie and their wedding party got ready. Andrew is Scottish and they used many Scottish details in their wedding. It was absolutely fantastic!!sponsor day episcopal church wedding announcementwedding day shoes on tartanThe “Coup de Marriage” is a family tradition on Andrew’s side. She has been in the family for many many years.coup de marriageblue and green tartan and hairpiecewedding gownwedding gown backlit hanging in treebride getting hair doneAnnie’s bridesmaids worked very hard to make sure there were no wrinkles in her dress! Andrew and Annie wanted to make sure to have time for plenty of portraits and not feel rushed during the day so they decided to see each other prior to the ceremony. I love it when couples do this. The day runs so smooth and we can get so many beautiful images. Also…a huge shout out for Annie’s fabulous bouquet!! I can only hope that I was able to capture all of the beauty and love with my images. You are two of the most beautiful people and beautiful souls I have ever met. It is so obvious how much you love each other and how much you are loved and respected by your family and friends. I loved your words about sustaining each other. I know we only spent the day together but I am a deeply grateful to have been a part of your day and surrounded by the beautiful light that encompasses you both. May you have many years together holding hands and sustaining each other. –Amber   Vendors: Venue: Virginia Theological Seminary Ceremony: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Wedding Coordinator: JoLynn Ibanez of A Weddings Squared (aweddingsquared@gmail.com) Flowers: Heather Lukk (family member) DJ: Mark Harman of Harmany Djs Wedding Cake: Confectioner’s Art Hair: David Brintzenhofe MUA: JoLynn Ibanez Bride’s Gown: Nicole Miller Bridesmaid Dress: David’s Bridal Caterer: Meriweather Godsey, Benjamin Judd
