Rachel & Gabriel: Willard Hotel Washington D.C. Wedding

WOW! That’s my word for Rachel and Gabriel’s elegant and classic Washington DC wedding. They were married a few weeks ago on a gorgeous Saturday and myself and my team were there to capture all of the amazing details and moments. I started out the day with Rachel as she and her bridal party got ready at The Willard Hotel.

This was the amazing view she had from her bridal suite.
There really aren’t words to describe Rachel’s stunning Mathew Christopher wedding gown. This is her gown without the embellishments, lace jacket, and tulle skirt. The lines are so clean and elegant!To add to her amazing dress…Rachel chose these stunning Jimmy Choo’s. Rachel’s awesome bridal party took care of her so well! They were all so beautiful and kind  and generous and full of smiles all day.
This little lace jacket was beautiful!And then….the tulle skirt!!!!!! Be still my heart!I mean seriously…have you ever seen a more stunning bride or wedding gown?Stunning!!!!My second photographer Kyle was over at the church with Gabriel as he finished getting ready and waited for his beautiful Bride to arrive.
He’s all ready!Before leaving The Willard Hotel we did a few bridal portraits. The inside of The Willard is amazing! Off to the church with her Dad!St. Joseph’s on Capitol Hill is amazing inside!That ceiling!Waiting for the ceremony and to see her Groom!
Look at that smile on Gabriel’s face when he sees Rachel for the first time. Ahhhhh. Makes my heart melt.There is something so classic and elegant about a black and white portrait with a bride and groom and a Rolls Royce!And then this happened…first selfie as husband and wife!! We took a few portraits across the street from The Willard. The light was beautiful. I’m in love with this shot…so intimate and warm.Then inside The Willard for a few more images.The reception was out of this world!! The Willard and Edge Flowers completely outdid themselves! My jaw dropped when I walked inside….it was like a dream.
The head table was stunning.I’m falling short of adjectives to use here! Beautiful, stunning, awesome, elegant, classic, jaw dropping, amazing. Every detail, every moment of Rachel and Gabriel’s wedding, was all of these and more. The first dance didn’t fall short either. I thought for a moment I was watching Dancing With The Stars! Everyone danced the night away and had a wonderful time!

Rachel and Gabriel – you two are wonderful, beautiful people. Your wedding was absolutely beautiful and amazing!  Thank you for allowing me to spend the day with you and document it for you. It was such a pleasure witnessing and documenting your love and joy and all the love that surrounded you from your friends and family.
