Ann’s Georgetown Portrait Session

Georgetown dancer portraits

Sunday morning was an early morning for me. I met with Ann and her parents in Georgetown at 8am…which meant I had to leave my house a little before 6:30. This of course isn’t a problem except for the fact that I only got a few hours of sleep as I had photographed a wedding the day before and got home super late. My eyes were a little red and tired and itchy. My feet were a little sore…but…this session…walking (dancing) around Georgetown with Ann was absolutely one of the best ways I could ever spend a morning! The morning was absolutely beautiful and we practically had the place to ourselves. Doesn’t get any better than this.

Ann’s Bat Mitzvah is coming up next month and in honor of that I took some portraits of her. Ann knows what she likes and she didn’t want a portrait session that was too traditional. She’s quite an accomplished dancer already and she really wanted to bring that into her portrait session. I couldn’t have been more excited! Ann brought several outfits from dance and we walked around Georgetown chatting and laughing and Ann dancing. It was so much fun.

We started at the waterfront.

I of course couldn’t not get a few more traditional portraits. Georgetown dancer portraitsGeorgetown dancer portraitsI mean look at those eyes!!!! Georgetown Bat Mitzvah portraitsGeorgetown dancer portraits

  1. These photos are absolutely stunning! While the bride and setting were amazing subjects, the artistry of the photos are captivating!
